Factory suspension is the weak point, easily transformed

The stock NC suspension — soft springs and, on GT cars, the Bilstein dampers — is widely called the car's only real dynamic weak point: too soft and wallowy for hard driving. A shock/spring swap, better sway bars, chassis braces and a good alignment (Xida, Ohlins/Goodwin, Koni, Meister R, Flyin' Miata) is said to bring the car alive.
