Roadster owners argue the convertible is just as structurally strong as the coupe because the chassis was designed for open-top from the start, and value it as the last loud open AMG. There is no factory or aftermarket hardtop, and the open exhaust note top-down is called a highlight, though roadsters typically carry a small price premium.
