Replacement key fobs for early Gs have become extremely hard to source since around 2020, with owners reporting the Classic Center takes the order and shows stock in Germany but nothing ever arrives; the credit-card-style key is NLA. The workaround is ordering through a dealer against proof of registration from a key center in Texas, and the scarcity has become a running community joke.
