For serious track use, the community consensus recommends deep sump oil pans, Porsche Motorsport AOS, third radiator, and upgraded suspension (Ohlins, JRZ, MCS) to address the 987.1 M97's known oil starvation tendencies under sustained lateral G; the 987.2 9A1 is considered more track-tolerant but still benefits from oiling upgrades.
